Please read the following terms of use for the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists website (“CAMRT website”). These terms and the contents of the CAMRT website can be modified by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) at any time and without prior notice. Earlier versions of the terms of use will be archived and provided on request. These terms (including modifications) apply to all users of the CAMRT website and do not affect the terms or conditions of any other written or online agreement that you may have with CAMRT regarding any of its products or services. By accessing and using the CAMRT website, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these terms of use and agree to be bound by them (including modifications). If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use this website.

a. Ownership, copyright and permitted use

All Content (as defined below) contained on the website is the property of CAMRT, its content suppliers or its licensors as the case may be, and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. “Content” includes any and all material, information in text, graphical, video and audio forms, images, reports, articles, publications, data, databases, charts, graphics, photographs, illustrations, maps, interfaces, web pages, text, files, software, product names, company names, trade-marks, logos and trade names contained on the website.

Certain names, words, titles, phrases, logos, icons, graphics or designs in the pages of the website may constitute trade names, registered or unregistered trademarks or service marks (“Trademarks”) of CAMRT or of third parties that are used under license. The display of Trademarks on the website does not imply the grant of any license to any other party and, except with the express written consent of CAMRT, the use of any Trademarks is prohibited.
CAMRT hereby grants a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive license to access, read and download the Content located on the website for personal, non-commercial and not-for-profit use only. The website is made available for lawful, personal use only.

You may print pages from the website for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided that you do not modify any of the Content and you do not remove or alter any visible or non-visible identification, marks, notices or disclaimers. b. Use of CAMRT Logo

The emblem of the association is a logo of an appropriate design as approved by the board and readily adaptable to the applications required by the CAMRT. It is the exclusive logo of the CAMRT and may only be used in accordance with the logo guidelines published by the Association.

The logo is an important aspect of CAMRT’s intellectual property. It is a means of symbolizing and differentiating CAMRT’s identity in the association sector. Correct usage of CAMRT’s intellectual property is essential to develop and maintain a consistent brand image and message about the association. The logo may be used by provincial partner organizations to recognize CAMRT as a partner in print and electronic publication, and as a sponsor where applicable.

All additional applications of the CAMRT corporate logo must be approved by the CAMRT Communications department.  A request for permission to use the CAMRT corporate logo, describing the intended use of the logo, must be submitted to the CAMRT Communications department for approval.

Members and organizations who wish to use the logo must always use the reproduction artwork supplied by CAMRT. No alteration or modification is allowed.

c. Links to Other websites

The CAMRT website may contain links to other websites, not owned by CAMRT, provided solely for your convenience. CAMRT does not control and is not responsible for the content or information on these websites. Any concerns or comments related to these websites should be addressed to the operators or owners of these websites.

d.   Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Content on the website is intended for educational and informational purposes only. The Content is not intended to provide medical advice and, to the extent that medical advice is required, users should consult with qualified medical professionals.

The contents of the CAMRT website may contain errors or inaccuracies. Your use of the CAMRT website and any linked websites is at your own risk. CAMRT maintains editorial independence and operational separation from our corporate sponsors. CAMRT makes decisions about the Content without interference from our corporate sponsors and none of our health information is altered or edited by our corporate sponsors.

CAMRT is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and CAMRT website visitors.
