The CAMRT has developed Exam Preparation Guides to assist candidates who intend to write the national entry-to-practice certification exam.

The General Exam Preparation Guide provides information on the certification exam development process, exam eligibility, resources for exam preparation, release of results, and the appeal process.

The Test Centre Guide provides information on certification exam administration, including how to register, prepare and write an exam at a Test Centre.

The Remote Proctoring Guide provides information on certification exam administration, including details about remote proctoring and how to register, prepare and write a remote proctored exam.

All guides are designed for use by all exam candidates: graduates of Canadian accredited programs and international educated medical radiation technologists (IEMRTs).

We recommend that all exam candidates review each guide in its entirety to ensure they are fully informed prior to registration. Once an exam candidate has registered to write at an approved Test Centre or a remote proctored exam, the candidate can reference both the General Exam Preparation Guide and the specific guide associated with the exam format they registered to write (i.e., Test Centre or remote proctored).
