Full Length courses

Each course varies in length from 30-45 learning hours, includes assignments and a final examination and is delivered over pre-determined terms.  Course mentor and/or instructor support is provided. These are extremely in-depth courses. Authors are typically offered first rights to instructorship. You would typically submit a referenced Word document with associated imagery for this sort of development.

Quick Self Studies

These are shorter learning modules of up to 10 learning hours, with a quiz.  These are designed for technologists with busy schedules who want to continue to be informed, enhance their practice, and earn continuing education credit. You would typically submit a referenced Word or PowerPoint document with associated imagery in this sort of development.

Virtual Lectures

These are online lectures of up to 2 hours, designed to enhance and refresh foundational knowledge.  These high-quality lectures are a convenient way to meet continuing competence requirements and an opportunity to learn from clinical and industry experts. You would typically submit a narrated and referenced PowerPoint document with associated imagery in this sort of development.

Webinars

Webinars are video presentations, usually around an hour long, that provide insight and education to practicing MRTs on topics of clinical and professional interest. These often showcases MRT-related research, industry innovations and other relevant practice insights. These are often prepared in advance as video recordings, and are broadcast with live Q&A at the end, to provide lively feedback and engagement.

If you have a topic of interest you would like to develop into a CPD activity, please submit a proposal and your CV to the CAMRT for consideration.
