As the national professional association and certifying body, CAMRT is committed to supporting the profession and ensuring MRTs have the necessary knowledge and skills to practice safely and effectively. We recognize that MRT practice is continuously evolving, and with it, so must MRTs. As new technologies emerge and shape practice in different ways, MRTs must adapt and continuously update and maintain their competence.
What follows here are recommendations, established, validated and monitored by national committees and task forces to support competency development in emerging areas of practice and/or to support enhanced competency development beyond entry-to-practice.
