- Director of Education board position under election.
As a matter of resignation of the previously elected (during the Trinidad and Tobago council meeting ) Director of Education, the Board exercised the provision of the article 11 para 5 and assigned Thailand’s society Council member Dr. Yudthaphon Vichianin as the Director of Education till the next (forthcoming) Council meeting-Dublin 2020.
The same article (11.5) states that “the appointed Board Member shall hold office until the close next following meeting of the Council at which elections for the Board are held”.
Having all the above in mind, I am inviting societies-member to nominate a person for the Board Position of the Director of Education. Election will take place during the Council meeting in Dublin, 25th of August 2020.
Societies aiming to nominate a candidate for the Director of Education position, should follow the procedures and prerequisites of the articles 11.1.5 and 11.2 of the ISRRT Statutes.
Note: Current Director of Education, Dr. Yudthaphon Vichianin (Thailand society’s member) can also be a candidate.
Nominations should be received (e-mail only) by the CEO not later than 20th of May 2020, 24:00 GMT.
- Marion Frank award
During the forthcoming ISRRT World congress Dublin the Marion Frank Award will be awarded. honoring that way the memory and the offer of Marion Frank to the Radiography community globally.
