2017 BCAMRT Annual General Conference

We are pleased to reveal the preliminary program for the 2017 BCAMRT Annual General Conference and AGM! The AGC is your annual opportunity for networking with fellow radiation technologists while building your knowledge and experience. The Annual General Meeting will also be held at this event.

We look forward to welcoming this year’s WQ Stirling Speaker, Amanda Bolderston. Amanda is the Provincial Professional Practice and Academic Leader for the BC Cancer Agency. She has worked in the field of radiation therapy for 30 years in the UK, Netherlands and Canada as a clinician, researcher, educator and leader. Amanda has authored numerous articles and presented extensively nationally and internationally. She is the Associate Editor for Qualitative Research for the Canadian Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences and an editorial board member for Radiotherapy in Practice in the UK.

We will also be hearing about the future of the BCAMRT and regulation of the MRT profession in British Columbia. Don’t miss out on these important updates.

Please note that this year’s conference will be held on one day only at a new location – the BCIT campus in Burnaby. The event will also be complimentary to BCAMRT members for the first time in many years.

Can’t make it down to the BCIT campus in Burnaby in-person? This year there will be a webinar/live streaming option for those that would like to follow along from their office or from the comfort of their own home.
