CAMRT-BC Commencement
Commencement is an annual event held in honour of the student members and upcoming graduates to recognize their accomplishments and welcome them into the Medical Radiation Technology profession. CAMRT-BC collaborates with each school/program in BC to plan individual events in three locations across the province, including Prince George, Vancouver, and Victoria (read about the commencement ceremonies held in 2019). Traditionally, commencement is marked as a day when students proclaim their commitment to their chosen profession. As part of the ceremony, they recite the CAMRT pledge and foster the pride and responsibility that is part of being a Medical Radiation Technologist. As well, they are personally recognized and presented with a CAMRT-BC pin.
