Income Tax Receipts
Tax receipts will be issued in February of the following year for total tuition fees of $100 or more.
Canadian residents may be eligible to claim a tuition tax and education tax credit in the year that they take their professional development. Administration and processing fees do not qualify as eligible tuition fees. CAMRT will issue official T2202A income tax receipts to eligible individuals in February of the following year. According to Canada Customs and Revenue Agency rules, total tuition fees of $100 or less from one institution are not eligible for a tax deduction.
If you have questions related to income taxes and educational deductions, please contact your local Canada Customs and Revenue Agency Office. You can find them in the blue section of your telephone directory.
