Continuing Education Credit
Virtual Conferences with assigned Continuing Education / Category A credit approval
Continuing education credit (category “A” credit / hours) is assigned to some Virtual Conference lectures. To obtain credit, candidates must successfully complete and submit a post quiz (if applicable). Please allow up to 3 weeks for the credits to be processed and appear in your CPD profile on the CAMRT website.
Virtual conference lectures are designed to be between 0.25 and 1.0 Category A credit.
Note that candidates who earned credit for attending the live session of the same presentation (e.g., at the conference where it was presented) cannot also claim credit for the recorded version.
Virtual Conferences without Continuing Education / Category A credit approval
Certain recorded presentations are not assigned continuing education credit (category “A” credit / hours) as they do not meet the definition of a continuing education activity as per the CAMRT’s Continuing Education Credit Approval Program (CECAP). In these cases, a post quiz is not provided and a certificate of completion will not be issued. Candidates may however use these activities towards their personal continuing professional development requirements (ie Regulatory Body).
Member fee: $10
Note that members must be logged in to see accurate pricing in the catalogue, otherwise the non-member rate will appear. The login button is located at the top right of the page on the blue bar.
Non-member fee: $20
After viewing the lecture, candidates may complete a short multiple-choice quiz. There is a four-month deadline from the date of purchase to submit your post quiz answer sheet to obtain category “A” credit / hours. Candidates who have surpassed their fourth month deadline must re-register for the lecture.
A minimum mark of 75% is required to pass.
Candidates who are unsuccessful in obtaining this pass mark have one full year from the original date of registration to apply for a rewrite. A $5 administrative fee applies for members and $10 for a non-member.
