CAMRT is seeking a representative to attend the ASRT Educator Institute, planned for Thursday and Friday, April 9-10, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Please see the message below for more information.

Call for Applications: ASRT Educator Institute

The ASRT Educator Institute aims to prepare medical imaging and radiation therapy educators for classroom instruction by covering principles of adult education, classroom management, curriculum design and technology.

The program includes online and onsite components. Participants complete five online courses before traveling to Albuquerque, New Mexico, for the onsite portion.

Application Deadline: March 21, 2025

The selected CAMRT representative will be required to:

1. Complete the online coursework.
2. Attend the onsite portion in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 9-10, 2026.
3. Participate in a one-hour panel discussion where agency representatives will answer questions from distinguished educators.
4. Collaborate with the CAMRT Communications team post-event to write a 500-650 word summary of your experience and learnings for the CAMRT newsletter, including photos.

Funding & Expenses

• CAMRT will cover transportation/airfare to and from the event.
• ASRT will sponsor hotel accommodations and meals during the event.
• ASRT will provide a $100 stipend for incidental expenses.
• Any additional costs are the responsibility of the selected applicant.
• Further details, including hotel confirmations and transportation services, will be provided upon acceptance.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a current CAMRT member.
• Be currently working as a didactic MRT educator (all experience levels welcome).
• Be available to travel and attend onsite event in April 2026.
• Submit a complete application, including a CV, expression of interest, and one written reference (see details below).
