* Should ECR 2023 be cancelled or postponed for any reason, CAMRT/Hologic may elect to either postpone the awarding of the prize (to the next available in-person ECR congress), or provide travel, accommodation and registration at an alternate event of similar value.

Description of Call for Submissions
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on breast imaging departments across the country, profoundly affecting patients, departmental operations, and the breast imaging care team. Changes fueled by the pandemic have called for changes to service and care delivery to address new workflows and significant procedure backlogs. As frontline medical professionals, breast imaging technologists have responded to this call to action, adapting their practice to ensure patient safety while contributing their clinical expertise to alleviate the screening backlog.
In this light, Hologic and CAMRT would like to invite medical radiation technologists to submit a paper to share successful practices from the pandemic (“breast practices” if you will), to shed light on the amazing work performed by MRTs that resulted in any or all of the following:
- Addressed the examination backlog in breast imaging (diagnostic, screening, biopsy and/or breast ultrasound).
- Created efficiencies
- Improved patient care, or
- Supported the well-being/wellness of colleagues and peers
