MRT Week 2021 – Contest Rules

MRT Week 2021 – Contest Rules

Participate in the Video and Meme Contest

Our new National Awareness Campaign highlights the impact that MRTs have on patients at important moments for them, and it also introduces the I AM MRT (or I AMRT) branding. This branding gives you as MRTs the opportunity to identify yourself and your colleagues with the important care described on the posters.

With this contest we want to capture the spirit of I AMRT in living, breathing form, either by video or through a meme. Nothing too fancy, just videos of you – the real MRT Heroes – explaining via your smartphones what being an MRT means to you, what your contribution means to patients, etc. Alternatively, you can create a meme with the same message.

For this contest, we are asking for:

  • A short video submission that answers two simple questions:

I AM __________
Who  you are (First name, location, and discipline(s) of practice)
(For example:  I am Emma, an MRT practicing in nuclear medicine from Alberta)

I AM an MRT __________ (because / for / to … etc.)
Why you are an MRT / became an MRT / love being an MRT
(For example: I am an MRT because I love contributing to the best possible care for my patients through the imaging I do)

OR

  • An original meme that describes a truth about being an MRT:

Submissions must not include foul language or mature themes. The CAMRT is not responsible for any copyright issues. The member making the submission is responsible for not infringing any copyright.
