JMIRS Call for Papers 2022

JMIRS Call for Papers 2022

The JMIRS annual special editions are a collection of papers on special interest and topical areas. We aim to engage a community of authors and readers, to help highlight the latest research and to develop new ideas and research directions. In 2022 we are curating two special editions:

Palliative Care content deadline November 1, 2021 – late submissions are welcome until December 31, 2021

Palliative care can provide relief from pain and other symptoms of a serious, long-term or life-threatening illness. Symptoms can be physical, psychological, social or spiritual. We are seeking submissions in any of our formats, related to your research, practice, policy, theory or narratives in this crucial topic.

“Leadership” content deadline May 1, 2022

Leadership has never been tested more than in 2020/2021. Across the radiation sciences leaders are guiding teams through perhaps the greatest challenges of their careers. All of us can lead from where we stand, regardless of our role, and we’d like to hear your insights about the dilemmas, ambiguities and complexities of leadership in our profession.

Submissions should be sent online at: http://www.jmirs.org/ but informal contact about ideas can be discussed with the editor at any time. Email us your ideas or questions at editor@camrt.ca.

The JMIRS aims to influence practice within the rapidly evolving fields of radiological, nuclear medicine, MRI and ultrasound technologists and radiation therapists, grounded in our circular tagline, “research informing practice – informing research”. We provide an essential platform for Canadian and international medical radiation technologists and therapists to publish and discover their own body of knowledge to define and inform their practice, enabling translation to a global audience.
