Canadian Health Care System, Culture and Context
Internationally Educated Health Professionals

Orientation to the Canadian Health Care System, Culture and Context is a course designed for internationally educated health professionals who are in the process of becoming licensed in Canada. 

This course will provide learners with a deepened understanding of the Canadian health care system, what Canadian patients expect from their health care providers, and how to communicate with patients and caregivers. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with other internationally educated health care professionals in a supportive learning environment.

This orientation program is offered for both those who have arrived in Canada and those who have not yet arrived. This is not a bridging program. For more details see the website. Please note this course is available in English only.
