Exam Write/Rewrite Policy
The CAMRT Board of Directors has approved an amendment to the existing policy on rewrites of the national certification exam. The amended policy allows eligible candidates a maximum of four (4) attempts to successfully complete the certification exam (one initial write and three rewrites) within a five (5) year time period.
The policy is effective February 1, 2010, and therefore will be applied as of the May 2010 exam sitting. Please click here to view background information on the amended rewrite policy.
Candidates who were unsuccessful on three (3) attempts at the exam, and/or who exceeded the two-year timeframe previously allowed for successfully completing the certification exam, may now be eligible for exam rewrites. See policy here.
