The CAMRT is pleased to confirm the appointment of Jonathan Bower as Director-at-Large to the CAMRT Board of Directors for the year between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017.
Jonathan is a Nuclear Medicine technologist practicing in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is a long-time CAMRT and NSAMRT member and volunteer, and the current vice president of the NSAMRT. His nomination was selected following an open call by the Nominating Committee and approved by the CAMRT Board.
As Nova Scotia Director-at-Large, Jonathan will also sit on the Executive Council of the NSAMRT; be a voting member; attend meetings and provide a report on national updates; participate in strategic planning and may lead initiatives; and attend the NSAMRT Annual General Conference and Meeting. The CAMRT Board sets the direction for the association and assures that the strategic goals and the needs of the membership are met. Board members are expected to participate in two face-to-face meetings each year, plus one or more teleconferences, as well as email discussions, background reading and other related activities.
