Seeking volunteer to serve on Canadian Patient Safety Institute Board of Directors

As a CPSI Voting Member, the CAMRT has been invited to nominate a member for election to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI).

The CPSI is seeking nominees who have effective Board contribution skills, as demonstrated by the ability to think strategically, are respectful of new ideas, can apply sound wisdom and judgment, share a core set of values, and communicate effectively (listen actively, ask quality questions, offer insights, be persuasive, and challenge others in a non-personal way). In addition, the CPSI notes its need for candidates that are able to represent the patient perspective and/or have experience dealing with health issues in aboriginal communities.

Interested members should forward an expression of their interest, together with a copy of their résumé and answers to the questions addressed in the CPSI Board Nomination Form to Myrtle Shields at mshields@camrt.ca no later than May 20, 2016.
