The Canadian Partnership for Quality Radiotherapy (CPQR) revised and updated its document Quality Assurance Guidelines for Canadian Radiation Treatment Programs this month! Visit the CPQR website to access the document in both English and French.
Positioned as a “living document” that will continue to evolve, the Quality Assurance Guidelines for Canadian Radiation Treatment Programs document has undergone extensive development and stakeholder consultation as part of the CPQR multi-step review process. CPQR is committed to reviewing this document every 2 years to ensure continued utility and relevance to the radiation treatment community.
A national audit was recently conducted that measured compliance against the Key Quality Indicators (KQIs) contained within this document. A national report card is being prepared based on this survey and will be released shortly.
