Grants for Breast Cancer Research and Training in Ontario

Researchers, physicians, allied health professionals, collaborative research teams, graduate students and post-graduate fellows from across Ontario are invited to apply for funding through the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) peer-reviewed grant competitions.

Research Project Grant Program

The Research Project Grant Program funds laboratory and pre-clinical investigations, clinical research, psychosocial, cancer control, survivorship, quality of life, and other breast cancer research projects. Proposed studies may include participatory, community-based methodologies. Funding requested for each project may not exceed $150,000 per year and $450,000 in total. Individual projects may have up to five years to complete.

Fellowship Program

The Fellowship Program supports research and/or academic or clinical training for graduate and post-graduate level scientists, physicians, and allied health professionals to pursue and develop expertise in breast cancer research and care.
