Vascular Ultrasound: Carotid, Upper and Lower Extremities

Vascular Ultrasound is an important diagnostic tool which provides crucial information about the patient’s cardiovascular status. This program is intended to provide novice and practicing Sonographers with relevant and accessible information important to the sonographic assessment of the carotid arteries, as well as upper and lower extremity arteries. The day starts with a review on hemodynamics and vascular physics, followed by anatomy, technique, indications, sonographic appearances, and pathologies of the carotid arteries and upper and lower extremity arteries.

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound: Assessment of the Elbow, Wrist, and Hand

Medical Imagining Ed presents this MSK Ultrasound program as a part of a larger series for Sonographers of all levels of experience. Diagnostic Ultrasound has become one of the most rapidly developing fields in musculoskeletal imaging. Dramatic advances in technology have broadened its applications and established ultrasound as an important tool in the assessment of musculoskeletal injuries. This seminar is intended to provide practicing Sonographers with relevant and accessible information important to the sonographic assessment of the upper extremity. Using an interactive case study format, the anatomy, technique, indications, sonographic appearances and pathologies of the elbow, wrist and hand will be considered.
