Roentgen Ramble
The first "Roentgen Ramble" was held, appropriately, in 1995, the centennial year of the discovery of X-rays by German scientist Wilhelm Roentgen.
Since then the "Ramble" has become a regular annual fundraising event for the CAMRT Foundation. Each year, a Roentgen Ramble is held in conjunction with the CAMRT's annual conference. Participants seek sponsors and take part in a walk prior to one of the scheduled evening social events. Proceeds are donated to the CAMRT Foundation.
Friday, May 24, 2013 > 07:00 hours
The Annual Roentgen Ramble will take place on Friday morning which is a great start to the day. Participants may choose to walk or run the approximately 2.5 k distances. Registration for the Roentgen Ramble will be at the Foundation booth in the Exhibit Hall on Thursday or in the lobby of the Delta at 06:45 on Friday. A prize is awarded to the individual who raises the most money. Pledges of $10 or more may receive a tax receipt if requested.
